Teleworking can Increase Productivity and Profitable
For the past year, 100 City of Calgary employees have been telecommuting just one day a week. 77 per cent say they’ve seen an improvement in their work-life balance and 90 per cent of their supervisors say they’ve been happy with their employees work.
Studies have also shown workers who telecommute are 20 per cent more productive.
Employees who telecommute just two days a week save employers $10,000 a year and employees anywhere from $600 to $3,500 a year.
It’s a different from a typical work day. I mean, a lot of the times if you’re given the opportunity to work from home it doesn’t mean you have to start at 8:00a.m. and stop at 5:00p.m.
