I wanted to share a tool that I have been using for some time with my blogs it is ShareThis. It is a great little tool that allows you to share interesting websites and blog posts. However, the best feature for this tool is it is a easy widget for your visitors to share your website or blog posts.
ShareThis recently announced some updates and I found some interesting facts about the sharing phenomenon on the internet.

Knowing the sharing activity on your site can give you some insight as to what your most popular content is and how your visitors are sharing. It is important to listen to your visitors, and they have a lot to say. ShareThis put together this great little visual of how people are sharing on the net.
Wow, I was surprised to see see that email dominates sharing activity. Now one of the features of ShareThis is that it has a option to have the Send/Email tab and this allows you to get your content in front of as many eyes as possible.
Another great toot is that ShareThis has a Report dashboard. This give you some great reports of what is working for you on your site and will tell you what your most popular content is. This will then give you a good insight to what your visitors like and cater your fresh content to their needs.
